I received the following e-mail from the CEO of the Book Bus (the children’s literacy charity that we donated all of the royalties of the anthology to). The money went directly from Amazon to their bank account.

Thank you for sending the spreadsheet report from Amazon (who do not supply any reference of source for payments to us). We are most grateful to you for supporting the Book Bus, donations from your book sales have so far totalled £538.33 which will help maintain the Book Bus Literacy Roadshows in Zambia, Malawi and Ecuador. Each Book Bus carries a team of reading specialists who are working hard to get 10,000 children reading proficiently by 2021. Thanks to your support we can change the lives of these children forever. We almost certainty could have raised more money, but we opted to keep the book at a price that enabled as many people to purchase it as possible.
Thank you for all of your stories, your support, your creativity and community spirit. It is incredible that this project has helped so many people in a seemingly endless variety of ways.
