New Year Resolutions – love or loath them, they’re a good chance to try and aspire to something different.
It’s easy enough. A list of things I want to do more of and a list I want to do less of.
More:
-
Books. While I’m delighted I completed the only book I wanted to read last year (Alan Moore’s incredible, Jerusalem) and I finished a few more, I’m aiming for about 30 this year. This might not seem like a big target to many but it will be very challenging for me to meet it.
-
Writing. Finish and release Metropolitan Fear. While I’m a significant way through the first draft (about 67%), it will take a lot of effort to finish this in 2018.
-
Promotion of writing. It feels a little unsavoury, but nobody else is going to do it for me.
-
Exercise
-
Volunteering
-
Family time
-
Traveling (but in a good way)
-
Sleep
-
Seek to further the aims of my family
-
Look at making a positive change to retirement plans (which seem like an impossible way off and may never happen)
Less:
-
Unhealthy lifestyle choices
-
Excuses
Wish me luck 🙂

Retirement plans? What are those? Good resolutions!
